Congratulations to Angela and Lanny, the new Mommy and Daddy to Zander born on November 1st at 10:46pm. The girls went out for a massage and a shopping trip on Nov. 1st (including Angela). About 3pm that day Angela starting having irregular pains in her abdomen. I took her back to her car at 5pm to go home and rest. She went home and called me about nine with increased discomfort in her abdomen some other reports indicating to me that she was probably in labor. Though, her contractions were never extremely close and regular. So, I recommended (along with the MD) that she go to the hospital. After she did her nails and put on her makeup...lol....she went to the hospital. About 45 minutes later I received a call from her husband, Lanny saying that she was 10 cm and the only thing holding little Zander in his warm environment was a bulging bag of water. I have never gotten dressed so fast and put the dogs in the crates in my life! Am I supposed to drive 70 mph to Clarian West? Well, I made it to the hospital for Angela pushing for about 10-15 minutes and having a NATURAL deliver!! What a woman! Her water broke as she sat up for the epidural- no time for pain medication!! So much for me being her support person in labor! She is going to have to show me how to do this when it is my time!!! She was awesome and Zander is gorgeous- a breastfeeding PRO! Congrats Ranger and Lanyard!!
