Christmas at the Zoo and Christmas Open House at Parent Eppes' Home

On 12/20 Damien and I were able to take our nephew Eric to the zoo for "Christmas at the Zoo." We only had about 2 hours until Nana Eppes Christmas open house started so we didn't see many animals, but we DID ride the train. This was mandatory according to Eric. I enjoyed the beautiful lights the most (we went after dark). The train ride and back of the barn view was great! (HUGE LOADS of SARCASM). But, our little E wanted to experience the train. Ugh!! Are we taking part in spoiling a child?? NEVER!! :)

Eric has, for the first time exhausted his Auntie with questions. I was exhausted when he left. He is at that age. AND, if I had a penny for everytime he said "AAAAUUUUUUNNNTTTIIIE" in the 24 hours he was with us I would be rich!! I sure love the little man though...

We were checking out the little sharks here. Eric is difficult to see, but he is the
one in the background, middle with the red coat. Damien is standing behind him.

Eric with the seals!
I wish I would have gotten a picture of Paul's and Barb's Christmas party. It was lots of great people, lots of beautiful decorations, lots of great food and a VERY clostraphobic AAAAAAUUUUUNNNNNTTTTIIIIEEE...
