We are still alive!!

Hello Everyone!!

Did you think we had fallen off of the face of the earth?? Sometimes I think we have. I have some fun pictures to post soon, but I wanted to at least get something posted here to say hello! I am on spring break enjoying a grand case of the flu! Yes, I got the flu shot, but they are saying that the shot didn't cover the flu strain that is spreading right now.

There is nothing huge to report other than being very busy with school stuff with my students. I am still looking for a part-time PRN Nurse Practitioner position. I received a call last week. I am just awaiting the official interview call. We will see.

We have truly been blessed by the Financial Peace University class through our church (13 week course). Have you heard of Dave Ramsey?? He teaches financial planning and "living like no one else so you can LIVE like no one else" in the future. He stresses living on cash and free of debt. He also discussed insurance, disability, purchasing etc. We have learned SO much and we are on our way to being debt free and credit card free. It definitely takes discipline, BUT it is VERY freeing.
